The
Department actively supports the mission of the School Dentistry —
Teaching, Research, and Service. Teaching is accomplished at all
levels: undergraduate, postgraduate, continuing education and peer
faculty.
Undergraduate courses are presented to both the dental and dental
hygiene students. The Department offers advanced endodontic instruction
and clinical experience to senior dental students on an elective basis.
Each of the 16 units is equipped with state-of-the-art ASI carts. Eight
ceiling-mounted microscopes are available and one additional portable
unit was added in 2005.
