| Of the 53 dental
                                      graduates, 12 are from dental
                                      families, representing the unique
                                      generational quality of dentistry
                                      as a profession. Twenty-seven
                                      graduates have entered general
                                      dental private practice in
                                      Shreveport, Monroe, Bastrop, Lake
                                      Charles, Lafayette, Rayne,
                                      Alexandria, Lockport, Rayne,
                                      Prairieville, Matthews, Thibodaux,
                                      Belle Chasse and New Orleans. Six
                                      will practice in Texas, one in
                                      California, and two are yet
                                      undecided. Two will enter the Army
                                      and one is off to the Air Force
                                      base in Lawton, Oklahoma.  Seven dentists will
                                      continue their training through
                                      the advanced education programs at
                                      LSUSD. An additional seven will
                                      enter other advanced education
                                      programs, moving on to
                                      Jacksonville, Florida; Birmingham,
                                      Alabama; Dallas, Texas; San
                                      Antonio, Texas; Seattle,
                                      Washington, and Farmington,
                                      Connecticut.  |
