Alejandro Trevino, DDS, MSc

Dr. Alejandro Trevino, associate professor of clinical prosthodontics and assistant director of the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics, is an experienced prosthodontist and implantologist with over 25 years of academic and clinical practice. He earned his DDS, Advanced Training Program Specialist in Prosthodontics, and master's in science from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). A faculty member at UNAM since 1998, he served as chair of the Advanced Program in Prosthodontics and Implantology.
Dr. Trevino is an ITI Fellow, past president of the Mexican Academy of Prosthodontics, and an internationally recognized speaker and educator. He has directed more than 50 postgraduate theses, led research presented globally, and co-authored over 30 publications.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Trevino is the founder of one of Mexico City's leading dental practices and the ITI Scholarship Center Mexico. He brings to LSU a passion for interdisciplinary education, digital implantology, and clinical excellence in restorative care.
