Adriana Wilson, DDS, MSc
Specialty: Prosthodontic Dentistry
Dr. Wilson is associate professor and chair of the LSUSD Department of Prosthodontics. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. In 2014 she received her certificate in prosthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry from LSUSD. Dr. Wilson has been a faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics since 2015. She directed the Internationally Educated Dentists Program from 2020 until 2024.
She has been awarded the Golden Apple Excellence in Teaching Award on numerous occasions. She has also received the 2018 ADEA/AAL Faculty of Color Tuition Scholarship for Professional Development: ADEA/AAL Compass Program for Academic Advancement and the Research Excellence Award in 2017 for her efforts in clinical research at LSUSD. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Wilson serves as a member of the Predoctoral Education Committee for the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP). She is a Fellow of the ADEA Leadership Institute and a Fellow of the LSU Leadership Academy.
