Remember to not save patient identifiable information on your personal computers

Computer Usage Policy:  LSUHSC CM-42

"Use of the IT infrastructure (School internet) must be consistent with the instructional, research, public service, patient care, and administrative goals of LSUHSC and for the express purpose of conducting business related to one's job duties. Network usage should be for school use only."
  • No Streaming Video or Audio (Internet Radio, News, etc...)
  • No gaming or music downloading
  • No stock trading or commercial work
  • No continuous personal web surfing (including but not limited to Facebook and Myspace)
  • Try to maintain work related usage of the Internet
  • Consequences can include disabling your login account

Microsoft Office Campus Agreement
All employees and students have access to Microsoft Office365 available by going to www.office.com and logging in with you LSUHSC email and password.

E-mail
Microsoft Outlook is our official email client app.  Other apps are not officially supported and may not work for accessing your LSUHSC email

Citrix Storefront: https://storefront.lsuhsc.edu/
This will also allow you to access other clinical apps.

Log Off every computer you use!!!
Your account id and password identifies who you are. If someone performs actions under your account, you are held liable.
