The Center of Excellence

infrastructure to
facilitate research
in the following
areas:
The Center's business manager, Mary Gerry, MBA, is available to assist investigators in creating budgets for grant proposals. The business manager also assists investigators in administering their funds. mgerry@lsuhsc.edu, (504) 941-8321. The Clinical Research Facility houses state-of-the-art dental equipment, ten treatment chairs, and one surgical suit for clinical trials and other patient-oriented research. The Center's Core Laboratory is a centralized research facilities center that houses major equipment for research, including microscopy, molecular biology and physical chemistry equipment. The Center coordinates a monthly outside speaker seminar series as well as a quarterly Research Development Seminars. It also coordinates Grant Seekers meetings, in which allows investigators to receive feedback on their ideas for grant proposals or drafts of grant submissions.
