National Board Dental Exam, Part I
Review Questions via Exam Master
Online questions for the National Board
Dental Exam, Part I are now available at
Exam Master.
This service provides exam preparation and review of over 2100 questions in the
basic sciences for dentistry. Each question also includes an explanation. You
can select blocks of questions covering all of the basic sciences or specify
Anatomic Sciences, Biochemistry-Physiology, Microbiology-Pathology, or Dental
Anatomy and Occlusion. Once you create your block of questions, you can select
test or study mode. Correct answers are viewable in the study mode.
To access Exam Master, click on
Electronic Resources on the dental
library home page. For remote access, you’ll need to login to Exam Master
via Web Access Management (WAM) with your name, barcode, and PIN. To begin
using the database, you need to register and create a personal login. The system
will email you a PIN, which you will be able to change, if desired. Click on
Create Exams, Custom Exams, and then locate Basic Sciences for
Dental Examination Part I towards the bottom of the list. After you click
on this exam, you’ll be able to select a comprehensive exam or limit questions
to one of the 4 major topics.
Exam Master is working on
additional questions for Part I and is creating a NBDE Part II. We think you’ll
find this a great improvement over copying old released exams in the library.
Contact the dental librarians,
Julie Schiavo or
Liz Strother, if you have any questions.
