The LSU Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry is considered to be one of the finest dental facilities in the world. The school boasts 220,000 square feet of clinic space with modern up-to-date equipment, two patient simulation laboratories where students can practice dentistry prior to actual patient care, and state-of-the-art technology to enhance student learning. The school's research arm, the Center of Excellence in Oral and Craniofacial Biology, has modern laboratories for basic-science research and a state-of-the-art six-chair clinical research facility that serves as a premiere site for clinical trails worldwide.
