Art show winners on display
Come to the dental library to view the prize-winning objects by Don Mercante and Gayle Escher, dental school winners of the LSUHSC 2003 Art Show.  Dr. Mercante, biostatistician in the Department of Operative Dentistry & Biomaterials, won first prize in the crafts category for his mahogany platter and sycamore bowl.  Ms Escher, part-time staff member in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, won honorable mention for her photograph of a young Ghanaian girl.  These items will be on display in the library through the summer.
