In 2002, LSUSD received a $1 million grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration to provide affordable oral health care to HIV-positive patients in central Louisiana. The Ryan White grant is used to fund patient care, salaries and education to central Louisiana dentists.

HIV+ patients are referred through the LSUHSC network of community care partners.  The clinic provides general  and preventive dental care, oral surgery and oral health education. 

Appointments are available  8:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
